VIMF is the largest global industrial exhibition in Southeast Asia and Vietnam. Every year, it gathers exhibitors and purchasing decision-makers in machine tools, smart machinery, metal processing, smart factories, industrial control and other industrial manufacturing and automation from neighboring countries such as Singapore, India, Thailand and others. It fully presents Southeast Asia's upstream raw materials, midstream machinery and equipment to downstream finished products industry, and provides a matchmaking platform for international enterprises and factories to upgrade.
Following the three industrial revolutions characterized by steam power mechanization, the automation industry is transforming into the fourth industrial revolution characterized by cyber-physical systems; Mass production through electricity and assembly lines, automation through electronics and computers. This shift, represented by terms such as Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing, has led to increased investment in digital technologies to enable autonomy and better decision-making. The VIMF series of events spans many years in Vietnam and promotes ongoing dialogue and progress in industrial development and manufacturing excellence.
