Interactive § What is epoxy resin?
Epoxy Resin refers to a substance that is cured and molded by an oxirane reaction. It is usually composed of resin, hardener, accelerator, diluent, modifier, filler, and other additives. Epoxy resin has been widely used in adhesives, coatings, composite materials, electronics, motors, arts, and other fields. It has three main advantages: 1. The curing shrinkage of epoxy resin is very low, and the dimensional stability is very good. 2. The chemical properties of epoxy resin are very stable, and will not be eroded and destroyed by common acids and bases, chemicals, and industrial solvents. 3. Epoxy resin has excellent adhesion to many materials and has high-strength mechanical properties. It can withstand long-term environmental stress and has a high degree of reliability. In fact, the biggest advantage of epoxy is its variability. Through the adjustment of the composition formula, it can gel quickly, or it can be left for a long time without reacting. It can be turned into a hard glue, or it can be made into a flexible soft glue. Because the change of resin is too great, Everwide Chemical has invested a lot of manpower and material resources to study it. For different customers, Everwide Chemical tries its best to come up with suitable products to meet their needs. Everwide Chemical is happy to share the knowledge of epoxy resin with you, and you are welcome to tell us your needs further.
Experiment § Test the surface hardness with a hardness pencil
When communicating with customers, we often have a situation where we cannot explain clearly or understand. Do we need to further explain how pencil hardness is measured? 1. Pencil hardness is related to the material. Some Hard coat factories state that the hardness of the coating is 9H, which is the coating on the glass. The same paint, on different materials, the results will be very different and hard coat on Silicon surface will never get hard. 2. Pencil hardness is related to film thickness. The inner core is thick and of course, the hardness is hard. The results measured by the coating film of 100 um and 10 um are very different. 3. Pencil hardness is related to pencils. To measure pencil hardness, you must use fine sandpaper to flatten the tip of the pen instead of sharpening it with a pencil sharpener. Only in this way can the contact angle of the pen tip and the material be 45 degrees. 4. Pencil hardness is related to load. There are 500g and 1000g pencil hardness carts. Of course, the one with the heavier weight is more damaged. 5. The pencil hardness is related to the direction of the cart. When the car is pushed forward, the coating will be scratched and shoveled. In the reverse-pull method, the car has no strength to scoop up the coating when the car is backward. 6. The hardness of the pencil is related to whether the curing is complete or not. These factors are synergized with UV equipment, and the reason is the same, so I won't repeat them. Who can explain clearly what the customer said?

Knowledge § How to do surface preparation?
The methods of surface treatment are as follows: (1) Grinding: The oxides on the surface of the object are removed by means of mechanical stress such as wiping and sandblasting, and the purpose of roughening the surface of the object and increasing the rivet effect. (2) Solvent cleaning: You can soak the object insolvent, use ultrasonic vibration, directly wipe, or use the vapor of the solvent to remove oil stains, organic impurities, and pollutants on the surface to achieve the purpose of cleaning the surface. (3) Hot lye degreasing: Sometimes soap or slightly stronger lye solution is used to remove oil stains on the surface, but these cleaning agents must be cleaned afterward to avoid residues on the surface of objects. (4) Chemical etching: Use chemical agents or flame treatment to remove oxides, improve the reactivity of the surface of the material, and create new surface functional groups. (5) Physical and chemical etching: Corona treatment, plasma treatment, or UV irradiation are used to change the surface structure and create new surface functional groups. (6) Create a new surface: A layer of metal different from the raw material is plated on the surface of the metal to improve the adhesion effect.
Product introduction § FT140
ULTRAWIDE® FT140 light-curing resin is an adhesive developed for surface coating applications. The resin is clear and transparent. After being applied to the appropriate position, under the irradiation of ultraviolet light, the resin rapidly undergoes a photopolymerization reaction and is integrated with the substrate to become a protective film for the substrate.ULTRAWIDE FT140®The cured product of FT140 light-curable resin is very soft, not only has good elastic recovery force, but also has strong toughness, so it has the characteristics of pressure rebound, shock absorption, folding resistance, and so on. ULTRAWIDE® The characteristics of FT140 are: 1. It has the properties of toughness, elasticity, shock absorption, and thermal shock resistance. 2. The surface has a good touch, moderate viscosity, and is easy to coat. 3. It is a solvent-free resin, which has no solvent volatilization, residue, and other problems.
Living § Thank God for keeping me so busy today
One day between 1996 and 1997, when we got off work, my second uncle and I stood on the balcony on the second floor of the newly built building and watched our colleagues leave. The second uncle muttered to himself, "Thank God for keeping me so busy today". I was very surprised when I heard it, and said to my second uncle, "After a day's work, we couldn't stand up. It can be said that we were exhausted. Why should we thank God?" The second uncle just replied indifferently, "That's right if God hadn't made me so busy today, I still don't know what to do today!" In fact, the second uncle's statement is a modest vocabulary. People in the same period as the second uncle worked hard all their lives, raising children, buying real estate, and entering the realm of wealth. Hard work is the only choice to change the fate of the second uncle in difficult times. "Thank God for giving us hard work" became the second uncle's work attitude and life philosophy. Do people often ask whether the new era after the second generation will need to work as hard as before? There were many answers to this question back then. Hedonistic people have the upper hand, they try to find easy money business opportunities, the pursuit of the enjoyment of the taste of life. The years in the past few years have proved that the "New Paradise" we imagined in those days has never appeared. Many of the big customers who used to call the shots in the past are now moving out or going out of business. The new continent of easy money in the dream has long been turned into the "Red Sea" of meager profits. The main product, which should have been a long-seller, was abruptly changed several times by ROHS and REACH. The secret to surviving in this wave of times is to "thank God for your hard work" and to reflect and respond at all times. Especially in the economic environment that has undergone great changes recently, which has led to the continuous increase of costs, the continuous reduction of profits, the difficulty of increasing the business scale, and the unoptimistic future prospects, " Thank God for giving us hard work " seems to be a kind of happiness. Only this article commemorates the teachings of the elders in those years, and also hopes that the future generations will keep this spirit in mind.
