Experiment § Improvement of the moisture-curing process
Generally, the humidity of moisture-curing resin is recommended to be below 55%, but the humidity in Taiwan is about 80% on average, so it is very challenging to make moisture-curing resins in Taiwan. "How to prevent the resin from curing during the sub-assembly process?" is the first problem we must overcome. Because of the high relative humidity in the working environment, nitrogen must be used in the manufacturing process to replace the air and to isolate the moisture in the air so that the resin will not react with moisture during the manufacturing process, and the storage stability of the product can be improved. In the trial production stage of moisture-curing resin, only 4 kg can be produced at a time. After the process is improved, the production capacity gradually increases from 8 kg to 20 kg and then to 50 kg, and even mass production can produce 100 kg at a time. At present, the moisture-curing series has developed many different materials, viscosities, and colors (transparent, colorless, black, and white) for customers to choose from and can also be developed and produced according to customer requirements. Activity § Ways of seeing
In many cases, things that we take for granted are very strange. If we don't look in the mirror, we don't know our appearance. If we don't record the voice, we won't hear our own voice. We come to the company every day, but what does it look like as a whole? No one can answer this question, because it is easier to see the "tree", and to see the "forest". It requires a good "position" and "angle." After Everwide's third factory completed the beams last month, we accidentally discovered a place where we could observe the whole Everwide, which brought us a new view. Knowledge § How to control the thickness of the adhesive in the adhered object?
The thickness of the adhesive in the adhered object has a great influence on the adhesive strength. The thickness of the glue is 5~15 (50~150um) is the most common. When the glue thickness is too thin, the adhesive strength will deteriorate, so it needs to be avoided. Many applications will do structural design on the surface of the adherend, such as adding ribs, preparing grooves, and even adding small iron wires on the surface to control the thickness. When these methods are not successful, the simplest method is to add about 0.1 to 1% of the spacer to the adhesive and use the specific thickness of the spacer to control the thickness of the adhesive. Spacers can be divided into inorganic materials (glass) and organic materials (PMMA, PU). The former has two types: spherical and columnar, and the spherical spacers will cause larger internal stress. Adding interstitials must consider their stability in the adhesive. In a low-viscosity, non-thixotropic system, the interstitial substance may precipitate, which is need to be avoided.
Living § Travel to Southeast Asia
We went to Southeast Asia at the end of March. It is not easy to prepare for this trip. There were many meetings just before the trip, from planning the directions, looking for data, and finally contacting. With limited information, it is not so easy for us to find a very suitable ideal partner in a strange country. We went to Singapore, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur. During this trip met many new friends and began to learn more about the Southeast Asian market. Singapore’s orderly streetscapes and culture are unforgettable. The typical southern customs of Malaysia and the vicissitudes of the history of Chinese immigrants visiting their hometowns and working hard are also impressive. In terms of economic regions, the trade between the ten member states of ASEAN has already broken down tariff barriers. China joined the trade agreement in 2010, and Japan and South Korea have actively signed one after another. In the ranking of Taiwan's receiving orders in May 2011, ASEAN was promoted to fourth place. In recent years, the importance of ASEAN has been self-evident under the background of the economic restructuring of countries around the world and the rise of emerging markets. I believe that soon, we will also do more in the economic exchange activities between Taiwan and ASEAN countries.
