New Equipment § Dyne Pen
The dyne pen is used to test the surface tension of the plastic film, so that users can clearly understand whether the film is suitable for printing, lamination or vacuum aluminum plating, etc., so it can effectively control the quality and reduce the loss caused by unqualified materials. Hold the dyne pen perpendicular to the film plane and apply appropriate pressure to draw a line on the film surface. We judge the factor of the film by the following three cases. 1. If the lines on the film that have been properly treated are evenly distributed and there are no beads, it means that the dyne on the surface of the film is higher than or equal to the index marked on the dyne pen. 2. If the drawn line on the film that has not been properly treated shrinks slowly, it means that the dyne on the surface of the film is lower than the index marked on the dyne pen. 3. If the drawn line on the untreated film shrinks immediately and forms beads, it means that the dyne on the surface of the film is extremely lower than the index marked by the dyne pen.
Theory § Lesson 1 Different material will have different surface energies
The lower the surface energy, the stronger the lotus leaf effect, the larger the contact angle of the glue, the worse the wettability, and the worse the anchoring effect required for adhesion. Similarly, the purpose of leveling and wetting additives used in coatings is to try to reduce the surface tension of coatings to achieve the effect of leveling and wetting the substrate. For glass and metal, the wetting of glue is not a problem, and the adhesion depends on the reaction of the bridging agent to achieve good adhesion. But for PP, PET, and Teflon, if the glue cannot penetrate the substrate, the first step of good adhesion cannot be achieved. Knowledge § What is the definition of Tg?
Glass transition temperature (Tg) has a very rigorous academic definition: on the main chain of a polymer, when a chain segment composed of 4 to 5 atoms can move to the adjacent free volume at the same time, this temperature is called the glass transition temperature. Thermodynamically, this change is a secondary transition. Common instruments for detecting Tg: MDSC (Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimeter), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter), and TMA (Thermal Mechanical Analyzer).
Product introduction § JA155
JA155 is a light-curing epoxy resin for optical component caulking. The cured JA155 has good adhesive properties, thermal shock resistance, and low shrinkage.
