Experiment § Perfusion LED display
There are many types of LED displays, the initial estimates are as follows:
1. 7-byte LED display (as shown in Figure 1): It is a digital indication used on the display panel of mechanical equipment, instruments, household appliances, communication, and computer equipment, and has a variety of colors to choose from. 2. Alphabet-type LED display (as shown in Figure 2): It can provide the display of numbers and letters at the same time, with a variety of colors to choose from, and has the characteristics of high brightness, high contrast, and wide viewing angle display. 3. Dot matrix LED display (as shown in Figure 3): It can be applied to indoor or semi-outdoor messages, images, and advertisements to display billboards, with single-color, two-color, and RGB full-color displays to choose from. 4. Built-in IC driver LED display (as shown in Figure 4): It is used in display panels such as household products, computer products, communications, game consoles, industrial or medical equipment, etc. 5. Graphical LED display (as shown in Figure 5): It provides a design with high flexibility and strong contrast and is widely used in audio-visual equipment, DVD, VCR and microwave ovens, and other household equipment. There are many types of monitors, and customer requirements are also different. There are general types and special types in the application. The difference is that the special type needs to pass the TCP-240 environmental test, and the rest of the requirements are similar to the general type. The associated tests can make resin formulation more difficult. For example, during the environmental test, the crystal wire on the PCB board cannot be broken, the colloid cannot be broken, cannot generate air bubbles, and cannot be liquefied when passing through the tin furnace, which is indeed a big test. The above-mentioned LED perfusion method is to first put a layer of 3M tape on the surface of the display, and then mix the epoxy resin according to its proportion of three agents, vacuum it, pour it into the display, and put it into the PCB board, and finally, according to the curing conditions, it can be cured. This perfusion method seems simple, and how to remove its tiny air bubbles is the key. The bubbles may be stuck in the corners and cannot come out, or they may float on the top and cannot be defoamed smoothly. In addition, the display also has dyeing problems that need to be paid attention to, such as the selection of the type and particle size of the diffusing agent, because the color cannot be covered, and issues such as light transmittance should also be considered. At present, the products that Everwide Chemical has passed the above tests and mass-produced are the JC117 series, which are mostly used in 7-byte LED displays.

Knowledge § UV glue curing related issues when dyeing transparent plastics.
When dyeing clear plastics, which colors can possibly be cured with UV glue? Which colors are difficult to cure with UV glue?
In principle, red is the hardest to cure with glue, but orange might work, and blue should be the easiest. After the plastic is dyed, it is best to use a high-sensitivity photoinitiator to improve the reaction ability of the UV glue. As for whether the UV glue can be properly cured, it is also affected by the depth of the color and the thickness of the plastic. There is not necessarily a general rule to follow.
Living § Preparation experience of 2009 Taipei International Electronics Fair
I just took over the host of Everwide Chemical's 35th Taipei International Electronics Fair and thanks to the recommendation of several other exhibition leaders, I was inevitably worried about the theme and the layout of the exhibits. The selected theme posters and UV-Epoxy application posters show the accumulation of cooperation and new ideas. From the idea to the impact of seeing the entity, it represents the intention of each person in charge. During the preparatory period, through the publication of exhibition posters and application instructions, everyone will try to express the product application industry and special effects more appropriately. The expectations and encouragement of the supervisors made this exhibition even more challenging. We hope that this exhibition can present the characteristics of Everwide Chemical and make a knowledge exchange. After seeing the experience of the successful exhibition last year, we hope that this year will be able to achieve better results and achieve a higher level. This year we mainly exhibited UV and Epoxy in different industries. UV emphasizes new process products and diversified applications, towards lightness, thinness, and lower production costs, such as UV molding glue, and Everwide Chemical's product exhibition in the IMD industry. Epoxy is mainly used in the LED industry, resin for composite materials, and metal-to-carbon fiber products, emphasizing the advantages of light, strong, and tough composite materials. In addition, we also introduce thermal conductive sheets, which can quickly dissipate heat energy and prevent overheating of electronic parts. In this year's Taipei International Electronics Show, Everwide Chemical strives to introduce new products.
