Experiment § In-Mould Rolling

The IMD process is a process published by Bayer in Germany, which means In-Mould Decoration (In-Mould Decoration) is called a "plastic revolution", because it makes plastic look no longer just plastic, but can have "colorful" and "texture" effect. In addition, it can also simulate the feeling of other materials, such as the appearance of "metal", "wood grain", "hairline", "carbon fiber", and the texture and surface hardness are better than the traditional process. IMR (In-Mould Rolling) is an out-of-mold thermal transfer. After the ink is transferred, the film peels off and does not remain on the surface. Thermal transfer mainly means that the coating is stably transferred to the plastic material due to the activation of heat and pressure, which improves the appearance gloss and surface hardness. This process can be used for products with flat or slightly curved surface decoration, the process is simple, and there is no need to open Forming and Trimming molds. This process can also be heat-transferred to aluminum-magnesium metal parts if the adhesive formulation is changed. This process is mainly used in 3C, home appliances, locomotive shells, automotive interior decoration parts, etc. Although everyone in the industry is optimistic about IMR technology, the real difficulty is to overcome the vacuum forming heat transfer machine equipment during transfer printing. If there is no good heat transfer equipment, many problems will occur in the heat transfer process.

Character close-up § A major contributor to quality control - Quality Assurance Department

Quality assurance work includes three parts: incoming inspection, process inspection, and final inspection. Under these three architectures, we have done many experimental experiments. At the beginning of many raw materials entering the factory, we use infrared spectrometers and even gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometers to analyze the detailed composition. We have found that the manufacturer's packaging is wrong, and we have not been informed about the change of raw materials and the residual by-products of the reaction. In the production process of our products, in addition to two process engineers operating at the same time to avoid errors, a quality assurance engineer will also be assigned to monitor the entire manufacturing process, recording weight, temperature, batch number, and time. This is a design to ensure that the chemical composition of the product does not go wrong. After the product is manufactured, the sampled samples will be sent to the Quality Assurance Department. In addition to reconfirmation of chemical composition by precise instrument analysis, another emphasis is placed on items related to the processability of customer products such as viscosity, thixotropic index, and reaction characteristics. Through many tests, we are convinced that through the efforts of the quality assurance department, our products can gain the greatest trust from users.

Knowledge § What is the meaning of PU in UV glue? Why is it divided into yellowing and non-yellowing?

UV glue with PU inside is another nickname. To be precise, it means that the oligomers in the UV glue contain part of the structure of PU. This type of composition is to use the isocyanate functional group of the terminal group of the PU prepolymer to react with acrylic alcohol and introduce the functional group of acrylic into the structure of PU, which can carry out the photocuring reaction of free radical polymerization. This oligomer, called Urethane acrylate or Acrylated urethane, is reacted with acrylic functional groups. This oligomer is the same as PU. When it chooses aromatic isocyanate, it has poor weather resistance and will gradually yellow, so it is called yellowing. When an aliphatic isocyanate is selected, the weather resistance is good, and the gradual yellowing speed is very slow, so it is called non-yellowing.

Living § My Business Experience (1)

In my mind, the first thing to do in business is to get up early. When I travel to the north on business, I usually leave at 4:00 on the same day, and sometimes I arrive in the north the night before. Starting at 4 o'clock, in addition to the driving time and rest time, you can park the car at the door of the customer around 7 o'clock, there will be no traffic jam, and the parking space is easy to find. Between seven and eight, I often dozed off in the car. When the client opens at 8 o'clock, I can completely arrange my appearance to visit the client. The first thing clients see is me, and they often say, "Why is Dr. Li so early? What time do you leave?" When I say that I leave at four o'clock (or the night before), clients are usually moved. There are many clients who still remember my story of getting up early for business trips after several years. The reasons why the client was moved are as follows: 1. Dr. Li's education is so high and he works so hard, which is really rare. 2. If only we had an employee like Dr. Li. 3. Dr. Li attaches great importance to our client. 4. Dr. Li is a very hard-working person, and his major must be no problem. If you go to the north on a business trip and start at 5:00 in the morning, the result is that it is easy to encounter traffic jams, and it is not easy to find a parking space after arriving at the destination, and it is difficult to enter the client's company at 8:00. The above-mentioned topics that customers are touched on will not happen at all, and only very ordinary business visits are left. There is a saying: "Although there is no merit, there is hard work". I don't quite agree with this quote often quoted by defeatists. Very ordinary efforts, whether it is business, research, development, manufacturing, everyone can do it, so this "labor" is really worthless. What is really called "hard work" is usually a moving effort. And this kind of special intention will be recognized by the boss, colleagues, and customers. In the end, all kinds of support, resources, and recognition will naturally come around, and the chances of success will be much more than others. Therefore, "hard work" is not the spare tire of " merit ", "hard work" is the only way to " merit ". Without hard work, where would there be merit?
