Experiment § Introduction of over-molding glue
1. Preliminary introduction of the mold-turning glue: The printing steel wheel mainly transfers the mold-turning to the PET or PC sheet as the master mold. The master mold is then transferred to the PC or PET, extending as a Hard Coating surface. And hope the pencil hardness can reach H. 2. Balance of extension and hardness: After turning the mold, bake the soft sheet with a small fire and extend it (as shown in the picture on the right), check the extension length, extend, and then test with 100 grids. The pencil hardness of the untreated PC sheet is only HB, and more than H is mainly treated with Hard Coating, but it will cause cracks during Forming and lead to defective products. Everwide Chemical's GN 964 series can have a Hard Coating effect and extensibility. It is a unique product on the market at present. In the research and development process, we encountered many problems, such as the number of molds, insufficient curing energy, beautification of appearance, printability, and finding raw materials that have an extension and increase hardness. In addition, in terms of market demand, it is necessary to consider the problem of ink flushing and adhesion for inner surface printing. Good printing does not mean that the finished product is ok. If the surface is printed or turned over, the yield will increase, and the hardness will also meet the customer's requirements, which is relatively advantageous. Therefore, we do our best to develop related products, hoping to launch inner and outer printing ink products in UV printing inks. We hope that the market acceptance of anti-flushing inks will increase and the birth of UV-type PC adhesives.

Knowledge § What is the illuminance of a general flat UV lamp?
The 400W ultraviolet light source in the left picture is an example, which mainly emits ultraviolet light with a UV-A wavelength of 365nm and visible light around 400-440nm. The illuminance measured about 10cm below the bulb is 120 mW/cm² (365nm) and 80 mW/cm² (436nm). The illuminance is inversely proportional to the square of the distance and decreases rapidly as the distance increases.
Living § How to tell if the wire is cracked?
A customer used UV glue to fix the jumper. The material of the wire sheath is PVC, and there have been no significant problems for many years. In the past six months, customers have adopted some new wires and found that a small number of PVC wires will crack when they touch the UV glue, even if the UV glue has been hardened completely. The timing of the cracking is not necessarily the same. Some cracks occur the next day, while others take several days to crack. Customers provide us with many kinds of wires they use, and we use TGA analysis to find that the cracked wires have a lower thermal cracking temperature, and those that do not crack have a higher thermal cracking temperature. Due to the complex composition of the PVC outer skin, we are not a wire manufacturer; we cannot correctly explain the relationship between plastic cracking and thermal cracking temperature. But we can accurately predict whether this wire will crack when it encounters UV glue. Customers love our analysis ability, and we send a few lines every once to ask us to assist in analysis. We can also genuinely allow customers to avoid losses and establish a closer cooperative relationship with each other.
