Experimental § Thermal grease version 2.0

The gap between the heating element and the heat dissipation element needs to be filled with a heat conductive material to form a good heat transfer path. Many thermally conductive materials are based on silicone rubber and inorganic powder. This design has the disadvantages of silicone oil precipitation, contamination of the workpiece, and effect on heat transfer efficiency. Everwide is developed thermal grease 2.0 to improve the above problems. 1. Improve the test method: we improved the test method. First, the glass test piece was sandblasted, and then it was heated in an oven for accelerated experiments. The precipitation of silicone oil can be easily and quickly observed (Figure 1,2). 2. Improve outgassing: cut down the use of additives to reduce the trouble caused by volatile. 3. Improve the wetting problem: the amount of thermally conductive material is closely related to the thermal conductivity and application workability. We improve the wettability and increase the content of thermally conductive material (81wt%) while considering the workability (Figure 3-5).Welcome friends who are interested to contact us.

Activity § Uninterrupted learning

The external training center do a great job on epidemic prevention, they start long-distance online teaching. The partners said although there is no face-to-face, the efficiency has not been reduced (Figure 1). As for internal training, we will use alcohol to disinfect all the equipments (Figure 2) also follow the social distance guidelines of the MOHW. (Figure 3), so that everyone can learn in a comfortable environment.

 

Knowledge § Do they need a precise ratio?

Most of the epoxy and hardeners have a precise ratio. Whether it is amine hardener, anhydride hardener etc, all need to be designed for different applications. Any change in the ratio may deviate from the best properties. The few exceptions are catalyst-type hardeners, such as cationic initiators and tertiary amine catalysts, which allow the resin to polymerize itself without the problem of precise proportioning. Most of the catalyst hardeners have an applicable range. If the addition amount is too small, the speed is too slow. If amount is too large, the Tg and strength will decrease. Most this type of catalyst is mixed into the formula. It is relatively rare for the user to mix before use. Therefore, for the normal user, both the epoxy and the hardener need to be accurately matched.

 

Living § My days in Taiwan

Fan Shiyu, a colleague from Vietnam, came to Tainan Chenggong University for a master's degree in 2018. At the beginning, the language gap was the first problem to be overcome. Therefore, in order to speed up learning Chinese, she tried to speak Chinese with classmates and constantly practiced in shops. After some hard work, now Chinese communication is not a problem. She shared many good memories in Taiwan. For example, the "Vietnam Culture Week". On that day, the Vietnamese Students Association sells Vietnamese food and introduces Vietnamese drama to Taiwanese. In addition, the process of participating in the dragon boat race is also very memorable. Now, she has almost traveled whole Taiwan. Taitung is the place where she is most impressed. The environment is very quiet and the sea is blue and clear. She also challenged the gliding wing and enjoyed the thrill of traveling through the sky. She also went to Nantou Lantern Festival and Hehuan Mountain, she saw Taiwan's unique culture and beautiful scenery. She will continue to explore the beauty here and create more stories of her life.
