Experiment § Epoxy resin toughener NF758
The basic composition of composite materials is divided into base materials and reinforcing materials. The rigidity is not enough and the toughness is not good, which is often a problem encountered by carbon fiber composite materials. These problems can be improved from several directions: (1) The choice of raw materials, the use of higher modulus, more tough carbon fiber as a reinforcement. (2) The carbon fiber prepreg with lower FAW is selected to increase the multi-edge of stacking. (3) Add toughening materials to the resin formulation to increase the strength between layers. Recently, we has developed a toughener for prepreg resin NF758. In the three-point bending experiment, adding 10%wt to the prepreg resin formulation has significantly improved various data. In the impact test The destruction mode between layers also changes (Figure 1,2). For composite materials with poor interlaminar toughness, the fibers spread out after the resin is destroyed, and the impact strength is relatively poor (Figure 3, 4); adding NF758, the composite with good interlaminar toughness, improves the impact strength (Figure 5, 6). The experimental results will vary depending on the composition, and you are welcome to discuss with us.

Activity § New ventilation equipment
In order to create a comfortable working environment, we continue to think about improvement measures: install a panel fan in the shipping area and use the air flow to replace the hot air around the skin with cool air. The thickness of the panel fan is flatter than that of the traditional fan, it does not occupy space but has the same function (Figure 1,2). In addition to letting the air flow, we use two fans to send the cooler air at the rear of the plant forward to make our workers feel better(Figure 3, 4). The roof is also a source of sultry heat. The original vortex generator (left in Figure 5) is changed to a powerful exhaust fan (right in Figure 5), which can greatly improve the efficiency of air renewal. Environmental improvement cannot be achieved overnight, and perseverance will gradually see differences.
Knowledge § Advantages of MS resin compared with moisture-curing PUR
The hardening method of moisture-curing PUR is to use isocyanate (Isocyanate) and water in the air to react to form a network structure. This reaction will release CO2, causing colloids to create voids and foam, reducing the mechanical properties of the colloid. The MS resin uses a terminal silane and water in the air to perform a hydrolysis reaction, and then condenses to form a network structure. The raw material is not toxic to isocyanate. The hydrolysis reaction releases alcohol by-products which are compatible with MS resins and therefore will not foam.

Reconnect with the living environment, enjoy the tender green of the branches in the vibrant spring, feel the heavy rain in the afternoon of the hot summer, feel the harvest of the fields in the golden autumn and feel the gentle warm sun in the cold winter; slowly let the sun shine on the heart, the stream flows bypass, build a rhythmic pace of life, and devote yourself to the embrace of nature, you will find that there is really not much people need. Many times life is not that hard, and the attitude towards things determines the color of life. So the famous prayer says "Please give me peace and accept what I cannot change; please give me courage and change what I can change. Please give me wisdom so that I can distinguish the difference between the two". Please stop complaining about others, focus on your own growth, look at the world from a new perspective, rediscover the creative and passionate young man inside you, and find the ideal you can devote in life.
