Experiment § Energy-saving film and UV glue

What is the difference between energy-saving film and insulation paper? Most people think that the darker the thermal insulation paper, the better the thermal insulation effect, but in fact, this is a wrong concept! In fact, the color has nothing to do with the heat insulation effect, and the darker the color, the worse the line of sight. The sun's light waves can be divided into three types: ultraviolet light, visible light, and infrared light, and 99% of the heat comes from infrared light, so as long as the infrared light is blocked, the heat can be eliminated because ultraviolet rays are the main cause of discoloration of furniture, floors, and cabinets, and can cause skin dark spots and retinopathy, a good energy-saving film must also block ultraviolet rays. The energy-saving film is made by using nanotechnology to grind a special ceramic to 5-50 nanometers, then mix it with UV glue, and coat it on the film for exposure and curing because visible light can penetrate nano-ceramic materials, it looks transparent. Infrared cannot be penetrated, so it has a heat insulation effect. Adding ultraviolet absorbers to the back glue of the energy-saving film can absorb ultraviolet light. It is reported that a heat insulation experiment was conducted at the Taipei Building Show: transparent glass was pasted with car heat insulation paper and building energy-saving film. The results of the solar heat test: when the transparent glass has a heat penetration of 420 and car insulation paper is 380 Btu, the energy-saving film for construction can only penetrate 28 Btu, so this can prove that the energy-saving film can effectively insulate 97%. Most people pull up the curtains when it is hot, but when the curtains are closed, the indoor lighting is insufficient, so they will turn on the indoor lights again, but this will consume more electricity. The energy-saving film is a good product with many advantages because it is both heat-insulating and transparent. You can touch the energy-saving film on the window later and don’t forget that you are touching our UV glue.

Activity § Everwide's new dormitor

Many friends said: "Everwide is a company like a school." That seems right! Just like the school, we also have dormitries. In addition to the original dormitory on the fourth floor of the first factory, the third factory completed in 2012 has a brand new dormitory on the fourth floor.

Our dormitory has a small dining room, a social hall, and 28 rooms. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, wardrobe, desk, double bed, and independent bathroom equipment, so as to provide a good living environment for the lodging colleagues. In order to maintain a clean environment and public order, the colleagues who live in the dormitories have set up the "Accommodation Rules". In addition to cleaning the public areas, everyone has to take turns cleaning up the restaurant, feed the dog, maintain facilities, etc, just like in a large family.

My home is in Changhua, in addition to exempting from commuting, the company not only does not charge accommodation fees, but also free water and electricity bills and the dinner is a nutritious organic food prepared by professional chefs, so these are really great.

Knowledge § What is Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT)?

Place the sample to be tested on two supporting points and apply a specific weight to the middle of the sample to make the sample bear specific stress (for example, 66 psi or 264 psi). Then the entire test device was immersed in an oil bath, where the heating rate was 2°C/min. When the temperature rises, the sample will gradually deform due to stress. When the amount of deformation in the middle is accumulated to 0.25mm, this temperature is called the heat deflection temperature. The heat distortion temperature will be increased by the addition of inorganic fillers and will vary with the types and shapes of fillers, which is a guideline for engineering applications. In contrast, Tg (Glass Transition Temperature) detects the change of plastic heat flow, and the addition of inorganic fillers has no significant effect on it, which belongs to the nature of plastics.

Living § Break through the limits of oneself

It was my first contact with Carnegie courses two years ago, and it was at the most disappointing time in my life. I learned two things in the Dale Carnegie class: positive thinking and positive facing life have helped me a lot and helped me step out of my disappointment but as time goes by, the original positive thinking seems to gradually become dull. A senior asked me before: "Are you interested in participating in the Carnegie Manager Leadership Class?" He also told me "This course is a bit like an MBA." To be honest, I hesitated for two weeks, because I was not sure whether I could complete this task, and I was not sure what new ideas I could bring to the people around me. To be honest, I hesitated for two weeks, because I was not sure whether I could complete this task, and I was not sure what new ideas I could bring to the people around me. Ok! In that case, please accept the difficulty and give it a try! The course of the manager class is a bit difficult: because the class is in Taichung, and it is midnight when you return home after class, but you must continue to work vigorously the next day, so physical strength has become the biggest test! In addition to class, I will do my weekly homework very seriously, because I hope to "breakthrough my limits." The other three colleagues who participated in this course with me also took an active part in the course, and finally won praises from teachers and seniors. The seven weeks of shocking education allowed me to learn a lot of management knowledge, such as innovation meetings, time management, authorization, incentives, change proposals, etc., all of which I have never encountered before, and improved my horizons. The seven weeks of shocking education allowed me to learn a lot of management knowledge, such as innovation meetings, time management, authorization, incentives, change proposals, etc., all of which I have never encountered before, and improved my horizons. I found two points: 1. What I learned is not "skills for managing others", but "managing what I should do". If we do not manage ourselves first, there will be no way to influence others. 2. In the working relationship, the title is not the most important thing and what really matters is the ability to do everything well and the attitude towards work. No wonder someone said: "Management is not one set, but one." What management needs to learn is not a set of skills, but an overall knowledge and attitude. If someone asks me: "Is there anything in the past year that I have had difficulty doing, but later I feel that I have made a breakthrough?" I will say without hesitation: Take the Carnegie Manager Leadership Class.
