Experiment § The problem of warpage of plastic board

Recently, when we studied the large area of epoxy resin coated on the plastic board (above 10 × 4cm), we found that the product has the problem of warping after cooling. There are two major ways to reduce warpage: 1. Add a lot of fillers to reduce the expansion coefficient. 2. Lead the material to the soft system to reduce shrinkage stress. In order to solve the warpage phenomenon, many new problems have to be overcome. Because adding a large number of fillers will cause defects such as bubbles and surface pits, we add a defoamer to the material and design a process: first bake at a low temperature for a long time, so that the viscosity of the resin becomes lower when it is not reacted. , By this method, the bubbles are broken and a smooth surface is obtained. In the second stage, the temperature is increased to allow the resin to cure completely. Since the reaction speed of soft resin is relatively slow, we must make sure that the cured product has a sufficient reaction rate, so as to avoid the incomplete reaction of the resin and the subsequent hardness change, which will cause the size of the plastic plate to be unstable. The number of plastic plates that customers can experiment with is limited. In order to simulate the warpage of the plastic plates, we cut the aluminum foil paper into equal parts of the workpiece size, and then apply the resin to the aluminum foil paper for curing, and then observe the product's flexibility. This seemingly simple case also requires great creativity.

Activity § The starting point of knowledge management is the drug center

Everwide Chemical and many chemical plants belong to the secondary processing industry. For example, plastic blending, paint, adhesive, medicine, etc. All of our raw materials are not produced in the factory, but we use the basic raw materials of the previous level of the factory to make the products that customers can use according to the formulas we researched. From this point of view, the availability of raw materials, whether the types are diversified, and whether the information is progressing, have a great impact on the development of a formula factory. In addition to active visits by raw material suppliers, we will continue to collect relevant information from networks, books, magazines, and related exhibitions. We store the raw material samples collected over the years in the Pharmaceutical Center, and ask our colleagues to organize and archive them, and share relevant sample information on the internal network for research and development colleagues to inquire and use. So far, the number of samples has reached nearly 10,000. In addition, R&D colleagues will also report new sample information at the R&D meeting at the end of the month to share their experiences with each other. For us, raw material samples are more than just bottles and cans. In the future, we will gradually connect sample information, instrument information, and book information to establish a solid knowledge management system. We also want to thank our raw material supply partners, thank you for giving us so many treasures.

Knowledge § What is the reason for the whitening of instant glue?

Instant glue usually has a special smell of choking nose, so it needs to be operated in a well-ventilated environment. These volatilized cyanoacrylate monomers will condense near the glued location and polymerize into tiny crystals of instant glue, causing whitening around the glue. Although this kind of whitening phenomenon will not affect the performance of instant glue at all, for many applications, there will be concerns about appearance and it is unacceptable. Instant glue bleaching is a major disadvantage for most applications. But in the field of criminal forensics, the whitening of instant glue can be used to search for traces of fingerprints.

Living § There is no standard answer to life issues

My son in elementary school cried all afternoon because of a midterm exam paper. As a mother, I don't think that a monthly test failure is so serious. What kind of reason makes a child who doesn't pay attention to grades feel so sad? It turned out to be the fault of the standard answer. The son is most concerned about the natural examination papers, and the teacher crushes the child's self-confidence. He asked me: "The last application question is "Please write down the characteristics of the magnet" Why the answer is "it's magnetic and can hold a nail." is wrong. I was stunned for a moment. I thought the teacher might ask the child to answer the standard answer in the book. It's just that if you write your own ideas but are ignored, this will hinder your child's creativity. I told my son to go to discuss the possible answers with the teacher. As a result, he didn't have the courage to find the teacher. Instead, he squeezed the test paper in the school drawer and dared not take it home. This incident made me suddenly feel that educating children to face setbacks and to have the courage to review is much more important than the answer on the test paper. In real life, there is no standard answer. Some people are on the same track academically, but their relationships are messed up. There are people who are successful in their careers, but their marital status is not smooth. The setbacks we will encounter throughout our lives are really too many, but this aspect is the most lacking in guidance. I told my son: "I asked the school tutor, dad, and aunt, their answers were different from the teacher answer, but none of them felt that their answers were wrong. They just wanted to know what the teacher’s better answer was. You don’t have to care too much about your score. The most important thing is to understand the content.” I specifically ask the school instructor to stop mentioning this matter with the natural teacher, because it is inappropriate to intervene in the teacher's grading method, and students should communicate with the teacher if they have any questions. Seeing the article here, I guess everyone also wants to know what the standard answer is for the exam questions! The answer is: "Same poles repel each other, but different poles attract each other." What is the answer you think?
