Equipment § Electromagnetic Film Thickness Gauge

The electromagnetic film thickness gauge is used to accurately measure the thickness of the dry film, on the one hand, to improve the quality of the product, on the other hand, to reduce the cost. The thickness of the dry film is basically divided into "non-destructive" and "destructive" because of the consideration of multi-layer coating. The electromagnetic film thickness gauge is a "non-destructive" measurement, which can test: 1. The thickness of the insulating coating on the non-magnetic substrate (NFe). Non-magnetic substrates are measured using the eddy current principle. Insulation and non-magnetic coatings include paints, plastics, glazes, chrome, copper, zinc, powder coatings, rubber, ceramics, etc. 2. The thickness of the insulating coating film on the magnetic substrate (Fe). Magnetic substrates are measured using the principle of electromagnetic conduction. Magnetic substrates include steel, cast iron, etc., and non-magnetic substrates include aluminum, copper, bronze, magnesium, zinc, stainless steel, etc.

Experiment § Methanol tolerance experiment

Experiment on the tolerance of JB721 to methanol

Experimenter: Miss. Ming-Xiu, Lai, R&D Assistant Engineer

Test temperature: 60℃, 100% methanol.

Test date: 96.2.26~96.3.5

Experimental purpose: What is the tolerance of JB721 to methanol?

Experimental results: The weight of the experimental group did not decrease. A small amount of resin may have been dissolved, but the resin also absorbed part of the methanol, resulting in an increase in weight.

*1: The fifth and sixth days are Saturdays and Sundays and cannot be weighed.

*2: The weight change of the day is the difference between the weight of the day and the original weight.

Knowledge § Outgassing?

How to evaluate the type of Outgassing?

Using Pyrolyzer-GC-Mass: Put the test substance in the heating probe of the Pyrolyzer, and then let the Outgassing substance enter the GC-Mass at a specific temperature for analysis, and most of them can get very good results.

Product introduction § 7306

The EPOWIDEâ 7306 produced by our company is a two-component epoxy resin. This resin can be used in different requirements such as infusion, impregnation, and adhesion. This product can be quickly cured at room temperature, has the advantages of easy operation and convenient use, etc., and has good adhesion to metal, glass, composite materials, plastics, and other products. The cured resin not only has good adhesion properties but also exerts the excellent toughness and hardness of the resin, thereby improving the impact strength of the material.

Living § Thanks to the helpless people who gave me advice

When I was in my third year of high school, I met a very different kind of tutor. He was our class guide only in the third year of high school, but after graduation, he could not pronounce the names of the three people. As he is about to retire, he just takes out the math textbook in class and leaves the get out of class after finishing the exercises. Another chemistry teacher is also very old. In class, he copies the reference books and distributes them to the students. Then he sits in a chair and reads the textbook, and occasionally stands up and writes something on the blackboard. It was also the third year of high school, and it was also the last year when we were facing the upcoming joint entrance examination. Not only did I encounter such a bad chemistry teacher, but I didn’t go to supplement chemistry either, so I almost always did self-study in class, so I quickly took out the reference book, read it hard myself, and asked the classmates next door to do supplementary lessons. At that time, I was talking about a bunch of atomic structures, which was super abstract, and it was really painful to meet such a teacher who couldn't teach. I was very impressed. Once the chemistry teacher asked everyone to raise their hands if they wanted to listen to his class because the classmates ignored him. It turned out to be less than ten people. He said, "Those who want to listen to the class will sit in the front. I want to teach individually, and those who don't want to listen will go to the back." Even high school seniors don't arrange seats according to their height, but everyone draws lots to assign seats, but the first choice turned out to be the last row, the seat by the window. Therefore, there are many "powerless" people around everyone, including relatives, friends, and colleagues. When encountering people who are "powerless" and "unchangeable", only being strong and relying on yourself is the right way. Finally, I would like to thank the powerless people who gave me this opportunity to learn more. When the senior replies to you, "I don't know either," it doesn't mean our affairs are over. It's the beginning of holding you accountable. Maybe I really don't know, or maybe I pretend not to. And most importantly, how much will this event ultimately bring us? The process of exploration is far more valuable than getting answers. There are too many "don't know" in R&D, less why, more how. It's easy to see anomalies, but hard to decipher.
