Solvent-free UV anti-fog coatings usually use PET as the substrate. Because PET material is hard and has low toughness, it is generally used in flat products that require anti-fogging, such as bath mirrors, goggles, instrument panels, etc. Our company's developed anti-fog film, is based on the PC. PC material has the characteristics of extensibility, heat resistance, impact resistance, and easy processing. It can be applied to curved lenses, such as sports glasses, welding masks, snow goggles, sunglasses, helmet lenses, etc. (Figure 1). In order to make the anti-fog coating have high-temperature resistance, easy processing, and good adhesion performance, we have developed a primer treatment agent for PC anti-fog film (Figure 2). The ordinary anti-fog film has been subjected to a high temperature of 120℃/120min for a long time, and the cross-cut test is 0~1B(Figure 3). Primer for coating PC anti-fog film, the cross-cut test is 5B and does not affect the anti-fog function (Figure 4). This primer is a solvent-based UV glue. Coated on the PC substrate, it has good adhesion with the anti-fog coating and has high temperature resistance characteristics. Primer’s GF165 anti-fog film has passed strict post-processing conditions, and it still maintains the integrity of the anti-fog coating after long exposure to high temperatures (Figure 5). Because of the hot summer, the working environment in the factory has become very hot. Colleagues will feel uncomfortable in such an environment. Several water cooling fans and large fans have been installed in the factory (Figure 1). Recently added a fog machine at the entrance, it uses a high-pressure pump to quickly atomize water into tiny molecules, increasing the area of contact with air, and evaporate at high speed to take away the hot air to achieve a cooling effect (Figure 2). Also, apply heat-insulating paint on the roof to form a heat-insulating layer on the surface to use light reflection to reduce heat absorption and prevent heat conduction (Figure 3). After adding a lot of thermal insulation equipment, the measured average temperature is indeed reducing a lot. Establishing a good working environment is our long-term goal.

When doing adhesion experiments, the adhesive is separated from the substrate, and there is no adhesive residue on the surface of the adherend, which is called “Adhesive failure”. If there is adhesive residue on both surface of the adherend, it is called “Cohesive failure”, which means that the strength of the adhesive between the adhesive and the adherend is greater than the strength of the adhesive itself. The other situation is that the adherend break by itself, it is called “Structural failure”, which means the adhesive strength between the adhesive and the adherend is greater than the strength of the adherend itself. Structural failure is often related to the structure, such as the adhesion between cement, or the use of adhesives for reinforcing steel and cement, and the adhesive strength is often greater than the strength of the cement, showing the fracture of the cement.

Before graduating from university, I went to Kyoto and Osaka with my friends. One day was visited the famous Universal Studios. In order to experience all the popular amusement facilities and avoid wasting time to line up, we purchased the express pass coupon. The amusement park is divided into eight areas and the most famous is Harry Potter. When I step into the park, the first thing I see is the majestic Hogwarts Castle, where there are many classic scenes from movies, such as Ron Weasley Flying Car, Stonehenge, Huomi Village, etc. Wizard robes are sold in exclusive shops. When we put on a full set of costumes, we seem to be a wizard living in the magical world of Harry Potter. In many facilities, Spiderman's adventures, attacking Giant, and the wonderful parade are exciting! The most impressive thing is the Kali Weird Girl XR train, and it uses high-speed flying cars combined with VR glasses. Unfortunately, this facility was a limited theme, and now is no longer available.
