Experiment § Magical Primer Materials: FZ014 and FZ0143

FZ014 is a primer for the adhesion of silicone rubber to plastic; it can be injected from TPU primer to LIMS, or plastic can improve the adhesion of Silicone; FZ014 can complete surface modification at the interface, and it is perfect with Silicone resin. FZ0143 is a primer for the adhesion of moisture-curing resins to plastics and metals. Recently, a customer used PU glue to produce bicycle parts, but the strength of metal adhesion was insufficient, and he was looking for better materials. We initially suggested using FS100 to solve the fundamental problem, but due to the limited production equipment, the machine cannot be replaced, so we had to retreat and use FZ0143 as a primer to improve the adhesion problem of PU. The part of PU without primer treatment will be degummed and easily peeled off from the substrate (Figure 1); for the part with primer, the PU can't be pulled off, and the PU will cohesively break when pulled strongly, leaving residue on the surface (Figure 2). In this way, the PU glue, which was previously poorly bonded, has been improved. The primer treatment can sometimes make a significant contribution, but it also has the disadvantages of increasing the cost and processing flow. Everwide Chemical's FS series can have good bonding ability for many materials without primer coating; at present, it has launched non-tin catalyst and flame-resistant products. Friends who are interested in related products are welcome to contact Everwide's business department.

Activity § May, I'm busy looking through it!

Everwide in May is busy turning over. The manufacturing department asks the manufacturer to design a controller that can set the vacuum degree and the cumulative time after reaching the vacuum degree; the time when the vacuum degree is unexpectedly reduced during the process is not included in the calculation; since then, our process control is more precise and rational (Figure 1). TS16949 is intensively promoted; after entering the training course of the internal audit team, everyone shouted dizzy but vowed to stick to the end (Figure 2). The staff traveled to Jiufen, Jinguashijia, and Xiaorenguo Recreation Area for two days: the children said it was fun, and the adults were tired (Figure 3). Following the annual physical examination, everyone paid the most attention to ultrasound scanning; the boss's cholesterol polyps remained unchanged, 0.3 cm x 3 (Figure 4). Nearly 20 colleagues took part in external training; classes had to be discussed, and there was homework after class (Figure 5). The European distributors who were negotiating brought our products to customers for trial; the superior performance won the order; They arrived in Taiwan within 3 days to discuss the contract details; more samples are needed (Figure 6). May this year is different from before!

Knowledge § What is the reason for the single-liquid type to be browned after heating and curing, or even foaming?

Regardless of fillers, diluents, and toughening agents, only the resin and hardener are considered; the amount of heat generated per mole of the reaction between the resin and the hardener is almost the same. In some systems, the reaction speed is prolonged, and the reaction exotherm is released slowly, so the temperature of the resin does not change significantly. Some systems have a fast reaction speed, and the reaction heat is concentrated, and the temperature will rise sharply when there is no time to dissipate heat. The latter example is most likely to occur with a single-component epoxy resin. The single-component resin will only start to react at a specific temperature; the original resin has a baking processing temperature; in a large-quality application, the total heat released rapidly will not be able to dissipate, which will remove itself from the processing temperature (such as 150°C) heating to more than two hundred degrees. In milder conditions, brownish pyrolysis will appear, and in severer situations, decomposed volatiles will occur, leading to voids and peculiar smells.

Living § 10,000 Steps a day

The bi-weekly report 166, "Let's jog together!" received many responses, asking us if we can exercise more easily? Ugh! It beats the master. To not disappoint the readers, we launched an experiment of 10,000 steps per day; the original idea was derived from the slogan launched by the National Health Agency: "10,000 steps per day, health is guaranteed." Is it challenging to take 10,000 steps a day? In the beginning, I felt that I should be able to take 10,000 steps a day! Not really. After taking the actual measurement with the pedometer, I only walked more than 3,000 steps a day because I often sit in the office to deal with documents and use the phone to dial inside to find a colleague, I have fewer opportunities to walk. Ten thousand steps seem to be an enormous number to me; how can I do it? According to research, it takes about one and a half hours to walk 10,000 steps. It is not to ask everyone to walk around all the time but to try to find opportunities for themselves to "activate." For example, if there are looking for the same building, I will try my best to go there and communicate in person; I will never ask my colleagues to run errands for items that I can walk by myself. If the number on the pedometer after getting off work is less than 10,000 steps, I will add a short period of exercise to try to keep myself above 10,000 steps every day. After a week of continuous exercise, 10,000 steps are no longer a long distance. I can exceed this number almost every day. Ten thousand steps a day later was just a belief to let myself exercise, reminding myself that I should walk more. Walking is the easiest exercise that does not cost money; how many steps do you take in a day? Don't always sit on the seat, stand up and walk deliberately, move!
