Experiment § How to accelerate the speed of moisture hardening

Everwide Chemical has newly launched a series of moisture-curing silicone resins and modified silicone resins, providing customers with more diverse choices in product applications. The "hardener" of moisture hardening products is water in the air, so there are two ways to accelerate hardening. One method is to increase the environmental humidity, and the other method is to increase the environmental temperature to increase the bridging reaction rate. However, when entering the oven through IR and increasing the ambient temperature, it is usually accompanied by a decrease in humidity, entering an environment where moisture is dried, so the reaction will not be faster. Another way is to increase the chance of water and gas collisions, such as using electric fans, water-cooled fans, and spraying water mist to increase the likelihood of water vapor and colloid contact and harden the colloid. If the atmosphere is inaccessible or the moisture is extremely limited, the moisture-hardening product will harden slowly or even not dry. In the application of infusion, it can often be seen that the resin on the surface reacts and bridges, which makes it difficult for moisture to penetrate the interior, resulting in a phenomenon that the surface is dry, but the inside is not dry. We sometimes use a blade to cut open the hardened gel to confirm whether the gel is completely hardened. In insufficient water sources, we can consider changing the single-component resin to a two-component form to make up for the deficiency. The resin is divided into two parts, one of which provides water to the bridge so that the problem of "seeing the sky and eating" can be eliminated, and there will be no incomplete hardening.

Activity § The swallow that brings blessing

Two months ago, a pair of swallows flew around in our second factory. Everyone was wondering why swallows came to visit? One day, my colleagues accidentally found a bird's nest gradually taking shape under the eaves of the gate of the second factory. Everyone rushed to discuss: "Will you lay eggs here?" "How many baby swallows will there be?" Outsiders cannot detect this kind of closed bird's nest, but it is very safe. After hatching, baby swallows will not fall due to crowded nests and can also avoid the invasion of natural enemies. Swallows use saliva, down feathers, grass, and soil to build bird nests. At first glance, it looks very different from the bird's nests sold in the market. The elders of the older generation say that swallows will build nests under the eaves of blessed people. To keep this blessing, don't destroy them and preserve a safe haven for the swallows. It is the first time that swallows are building nests in Everwide. Here we share this blessing with everyone and wish everyone safe and healthy.

Knowledge § Why does silicone hardened material often appear as white misty semi-translucent?

Silicone's intermolecular force is weak, so its viscosity before hardening, Tg, and hardness after hardening is lower than ordinary materials. The addition of inorganic minerals to Silicone can be used as a reinforcing agent for the resin to improve strength, toughness, and adhesion. The principle of the reinforcing agent is to make the Silicone molecule and the surface of the inorganic mineral exert force, and the molecular chain produces a phenomenon similar to physical cross-linking, thereby increasing the strength of the material. Adding Fume Silica as a reinforcing agent has the best effect, but it will turn the transparent Silicone into a translucent white mist. As for other colors of Silicone, such as white and black, most of them are made by adding reinforcing agents to translucent Silicone and then dyeing with pigments. The intermolecular force is weak, and another well-known example of the need to add a reinforcing agent to increase the strength is rubber. The most commonly used reinforcing agent for rubber is Carbon Black, so most rubber products are black, such as tires, door frames, window frames, hoses, transmission belts, cushions, floors, and shock absorbers.

Living § The secret to everything you want

About 20 years ago, I flipped through a book called "Things Come From My Heart." It emphasizes a concept: As long as everyone keeps thinking about their wishes, they will be realized. Five or six years ago, there was a best-selling book in the United States. The title of the book is "The Secret." It has a general idea: everyone's thoughts will send out radio waves to the universe, and the universe will respond to us when receiving these radio waves, allowing us to achieve our wishes. This book has been selling well in Taiwan for a long time, and I bought three as gifts. A while ago, many relatives were ill, which gave me a chance to contact Seth materials. The view of this doctrine on disease: Our soul travels through the space and time of the universe, making various experiences through the body. Since the body is a tool of the soul's experience, the soul can command the body. When we are sick, if the soul feels that there are still many unfinished experiences, it will repair the body by itself. If the soul feels that the task has been completed and is ready to experience the next life, it will naturally abandon the present body. There are two main axes of this view: 1) the soul is immortal, and 2) self-treatment of disease. Regarding the second point, it is not that it is useless to see a doctor and take medicine. It emphasizes that medicine can only deal with the "body." If a person's "mind" doesn't need this body at all, then the disease will either not heal or relapse. In contrast, if the soul needs this body, then self-healing is combined with modern medicine, and no matter how complex the disease is, it can be recovered. I found that these "body, mind, and mind" thoughts are connected with "whatever you want to do" and "secrets": our subjective will affects the occurrence and outcome of diseases. From another perspective, being sick is the homework the soul wants us to do. Some consciousness causes the soul to abandon the body, making us sick, for example, resentment, depression, despair. We must find these consciousnesses introspectively and regain a new life by changing our lives. These secrets of what I want to do gave me a lot of inspiration. I want to call on everyone to pay attention to the health of the body, mind, and soul and pray for the speedy recovery of the slightly ill elders.
